Managing the Building Process - A Five Step Plan.

As your project manager, we will initiate the planning process with a site investigation to determine soil properties and natural features which can be utilised such as views, sunlight, breezes, ease of construction and access. This will enable you to visualise features that we can use in the initial plan. These 5 steps are as follows:

Stage Purpose
1. Initial consultation with the Martin Design staff To visualise the features you need to incorporate in your building
2. Preliminary Site Inspection To evaluate the best aspect and site positioning for your building
3. Preparation of Design plans To completely integrate all design features into the plan
4. Preparation of Construction Plans To provide engineering and technical specifications for Council approval
5. Calling of Tenders and Quotes To select the most suitable building contractor
